Originally we thought we would have a grey and white kitchen with a built in coffee maker, however this morphed into a navy and white kitchen with a boiling water tap!

We went in open minded and thanks to the expertise and assistance from John at German Kitchen studio ended up with a kitchen that works brilliantly for us and also looks great too. Only by detailed planning and looking at what we wanted and needed and how best to fit into our large but very busy kitchen space was this achieved. We wanted a lot of change from our existing kitchen and integration into our open plan kitchen/living/dining space and by looking at this and literally “turning things around” this was totally achieved along with our family of 6 kitchen table.

Thanks to Johns eye for detail and design and a team comprising all trades well versed in bespoke design our dream kitchen was brought to life. At no time were we pressured into anything and welcomed and took the opportunity to view our heatproof worktop in solid large scale state at the factory prior to selection. Looking back getting to know our needs and demands was key to the right design and this was clear in every aspect of design including the one handed operation of the tap and sink with supports to facilitate this.

We would highly recommend GKS as from start to finish it has been a highly professional job and covered all aspects and trades meaning no endless calls and delays as the team operated to a detailed timetable ensuring as little interruption as possible and we knew exactly what was happening when.
We are delighted with the end result as a result of the careful design and planing process mixed with a highly skilled installation team and “complete package” of new lighting, appliances, units and table all working exactly how we need whilst encompassing excellent aesthetic sleek design. As for the coffee maker well it needed too much regular cleaning and we drink tea just as often so an instant boiling water tap with no kettle required works perfectly!
Would we do it again, yes and we did – to transform our basement utility room!
